My blood count is 3.77 would that call for a transfusion?
Anything under 7 is considered not normal. It depends on the individual and the cirstances that caused it to be down to begin with. The DR should be contacted , I feel your concerned or you wouldn't have asked this question to begin with.Sometimes with DR's they get an emergency and things get missed.Or misplaced , like test results for example. The DR has to be brought to attention and there's no better time than NOW. Don't take for granted the DR knows REMIND HIM.He's needing to be his attention to these matters and leaving the DR a personal message with a call back number, name , problem or cirstances. Also the number of the pharmacy where you get your meds filled and sometimes they call you to see whats the prolem from the DR office and triage , means seeing the most important people 1st. You need to leave a message and everything i said " ask to speak to the DR and be persistant." He/she wants to know, believe me! then after you have told him , it brings attention to your situation. Therefore you getting the correct answer, your blood count is low, pls call your DR now.
