Read a lot but need some good books?

Have you ever tried reading Artemis Fowl books? I'm reading the first one, and the beginning may seem awkward, but I'll tell you, its a good mix of fiction and real-life things. Not sure you'll like it, but at least read the first book, that's yellow, and see if you're interested. It's a child-young adult novel. If you read the copy writes page, there's a message. Would "The Spiderwick Chronicles" suit you? They're small and easy to read in less than a day if love reading. That's all I can think of. Hope you find others.
