How to feed a 9 month old baby?

I am a 1st time young mom and i want to do the right thing. WHat is a good feeding scheld for my 9 month old little boy? How many bottles should he get. Should i put his formula in a sippy cup.? how much gerber food can i gice him now? He DOES NOT have any teeth yet.? What about table foods.?
