Hasn't it been pretty much like Batista has been the World Heavyweight Champion?

Heres my logic here. Batista beat King Booker for the title in November. He held the title til Wrestlemania when the Undertaker beat him. He then feuded with the Undertaker until Edge beat the Undertaker for the title using his Money in the Bank contract. Batista has feuded with Edge since Edge won the World Heavyweight title. He even has a match with him next month at Vengeance. That being said, Batista has been in the World Heavyweight title feud since November, the champion has just changed. Isn't the challenger supposed to change more than the champion? So it is pretty much like he never lost the title because he is always in the feud for it. What do you think?
