Is having sores in the corner of my mouth a possible sign of diabetes?

i've never heard of mouth sores being a symptom of diabetes but you never know. see your doctor for blood tests but mouth sores sound more like lupus to me. people with lupus often get sores inside their mouth and/or nose. its autoimmune (but treatable) and attacks your organs so it could be affecting your pancreas or kidneys enough to mess with your sugar.
