Do you use baby slings for your newborn infant?

There is one certain kind of sling that has been found to be dangerous. I used a sling with my son starting when he was about 6 weeks old and never had an issue with it. It was a convenient way to carry him and he was very comfortable in it. My sister used a sling with all; 5 of her kids starting from when they were a few days old until they were 3 or 4 and she also never had any issues. If I have another baby I will most definitely carry him/her around in a sling.
