Bush helped Libby get away with covering up treason by the VP, does this represent Republican values?

I would have to say yes with all the cheering of the decision by republicans. It was treason exposing a CIA agent. Personally I'm glad he commuted his sentence. It's another little something for the rest of America to remember next election. It also shows me just how much influence the V.P. has on the President. The commutation allows Libby to keep his mouth shut so we can't find out what the real story is behind the exposure. I doubt the President has the legal mind to realize a pardon would have made him susceptible to questioning, hence the commuting of his sentence.
